Our gatherings foster proximity and belonging through intimate, panel-style discussions hosted in homes for small groups of 20-30 people. Each event features a unique theme, with 2-4 panelists who are willing to share their personal stories and experiences. These conversations allow for deep, authentic connection and learning from different perspectives.
Putting yourself out there and coming to an event with people that are different than you is not easy! But we assure you, if you live here in Utah, you belong at SitWithMe.
The events are currently held in the homes of people in Utah.
Anyone is welcome to SitWithMe. The goal is to create dialogue between people that might not often cross paths. If you see a topic that you aren't familiar with or might make you slightly uncomfortable, then that is the event for you! Please know this isn't a space where you need to agree with people, but to respect those you disagree with anyway. (This is not a space for debate, only for listening and connecting.)
Anyone in Utah is welcome to these events. We are trying to foster belonging and unity here specifically in Utah.
Our agenda is to create real community connection and belonging. That's it.
SitWithMe is about people not politics. We try to listen to the stories of all community members here in Utah. We feel the division in this country is because we are not proximate enough to people in our community that navigate different problems than we do. The goal is to heal that divide by bringing people together.
